Academy of Waterford Parent Group

2007-2008 Officers are:

• Meets the 1st Wednesday of every month at 8:30am in the Library
• Parent group has raised funds to purchase playground equipment, fund carnival activities, purchase prizes for contests, support classroom parties, support dances, and offer movie nights.
• Some of our fundraisers have included:  Weekly popcorn days, Market Day, and Little Caesars Pizza kits.
• Parent Group has assisted and supported the"Walk with the Dinosaurs" by creating the"Fun Walk" held this past fall 2007.
• Parent Group has organized the Christmas and Memorial Day parades, the Santa Shop and provided refreshments for many of the Open Houses and evening programs.
• Parent Group members have volunteered for library book shelving, assistance in the lunchroom and with classroom assistance as needed.
