The Board of Directors of the Academy of Waterford requests interested parents and community members to fill out and submit a questionnaire in order to be considered for possible appointment to the board of directors of the Academy of Waterford.  From time to time, school board vacancies occur and the Board of Directors must nominate interested and qualified persons to the Bay Mills Community College to fill those board vacancies. 

If you are interested in being considered, or think you may be, please stop by the office of the Academy Director, Carolyn Hughley, located at the Academy of Waterford, 3000 Sashabaw Road, Waterford, Michigan, and pick up a board candidate packet.  The packet contains information about the process of becoming a board member, a description of the responsibilities of board members, and a copy of the Bay Mills Community College application and questionnaire form.  You may also go to the Bay Mills Community College website and access the board member questionnaire at http://www.bmcc.edu/charter_docs/ under announcements.

Completed applications and questionnaires for the next board opening should be submitted to the Academy Director or any current Board member by May 14^th, 2009.
